ICYMI Tammy Larkin Endorsed by Baltimore Sun

I don’t always agree with the The Baltimore Sun editorial board, but in this case I think they made the right decision. They recognized that we are running a legitimate campaign that is focused on the issues that matter to 7th district voters.

"District 7, which straddles the Baltimore-Harford line, has been ably represented by Sen. J.B. Jennings since 2011, and he is running unopposed in the Republican primary. In the House race, Del. Kathy Szeliga is a political star and a leader in the GOP caucus in Annapolis. She has her finger on the pulse of the district and has our endorsement. We do not endorse the other incumbent, Del. Rick Impallaria, but hope voters will instead consider the several stronger candidates in the district. Our picks are Tammy Larkin, a long-time GOP activist who has the support of former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., County Councilman David Marks and Mr. Jennings..."

Governor Endorses Tammy Larkin for Delegate in Legislative District 7

Today, Republican Governor Bob Ehrlich announced his support and endorsement of no-nonsense conservative Tammy Larkin for State Delegate.

In the last month, Ms. Larkin has earned endorsements from other top Republican leaders including Minority Leader, Senator JB Jennings and Baltimore County Councilman David Marks.

“Tammy Larkin is an honest conservative who is no-nonsense.  Tammy worked on my campaigns and I saw firsthand how hard working and dedicated she is to making Maryland a better place to live and work.  She is smart, ethical, and brings a common-sense approach to reducing taxes and cutting government spending.  Tammy is passionate about the district, conservative values, and Maryland.  I have no doubt that she will be a fighter for District 7 voters.  I am proud to endorse Tammy Larkin in the Republican primary for House of Delegates, “ said former Governor Bob Ehrlich.

Ms. Larkin worked on Governor Ehrlich’s campaign in 2010 as State Director of Women for Ehrlich.  She is the founder of Conservative Women for Maryland, and a co-founder of Club Conservative in Baltimore County.

“One of the many things Governor Ehrlich and I agree on is the need for commonsense and honesty in Annapolis.  I am honored to have earned his endorsement.  I will fight to lower taxes and reduce out-of-control government spending to help Marylanders keep more of the money they earn. I can feel the momentum building and it is because Republicans want a conservative who is honest and will look out for their interests and not the special interests.”

The Republican Primary for House of Delegates is Tuesday, June 26th. Early voting runs June 14-21.  District 7 includes parts of Baltimore County and Harford County.  There is a total of thirteen Republican candidates running in the primary.

Senior GOP Member on Baltimore County Council David Marks Endorses Tammy Larkin for Delegate

David Marks, two term Republican Baltimore County Councilman today endorsed Tammy Larkin for Delegate in District 7.

“Republicans in District 7 have three votes in the primary election. I urge Republicans to give one of those votes to Tammy Larkin.  Tammy is an outstanding candidate whose experience in government and as a community leader will serve us well in Annapolis.  She is smart, energetic, and principled,” he said.

This is the second endorsement Ms. Larkin has earned from Republican leaders in the district.  Recently, Republican Senate Minority Leader J.B. Jennings (District 7) endorsed Tammy.

Larkin is a Republican leader and founder of Conservative Women for Maryland, co-founder of Club Conservative in Baltimore County, served as State Director of Women for Ehrlich, and worked on the Change Maryland campaign in Governor Hogan’s 2014 victory.

“I have worked collaboratively with Councilman Marks on issues affecting our community and am excited to earn his endorsement,” said Larkin. “His endorsement demonstrates his support of my focus on reducing taxes, creating jobs, fighting sanctuary status for MS-13 gang members, and making sure there is accountability in government.  When Councilman Marks and I spoke about the need for commonsense leadership in Annapolis he agreed that I am exactly the kind of representative we need in Annapolis.  Again, I’m honored to have earned his endorsement.”

Senator JB Jennings, Minority Leader in the Maryland State Senate, announced today, May 21st, his full support and endorsement of Tammy Larkin for Delegate in District 7, Jennings’ home district.

“Tammy Larkin served as my District Director, in this capacity I was able to see her work ethic and dedication to the citizens of the 7th District first hand.  I can personally vouch for how hard she will fight for the conservative values which will be vital to Governor Hogan’s efforts to make Maryland an even better place to live and work,” he said.

Tammy is the mom of three and resides in the White Marsh area.  She was the District Director for Senator Jennings.  Additionally, she has demonstrated her Republican leadership, as a founder of Conservative Women for Maryland, co-founder of Club Conservative in Baltimore County, State Director of Women for Ehrlich, and has worked on the Change Maryland campaign in Hogan’s 2014 victory.

“It is an honor to earn his endorsement,” said Larkin. “It demonstrates that not all GOP candidates for Delegate are equal. I have challengers who are liberal or formerly ran and lost as Democrats, and voters may not know who the true conservatives are. Senator J.B. Jennings’ full support and endorsement is a testament to my GOP leadership experience, work ethic, and conservative values.”

The Republican Primary for House of Delegates is Tuesday, June 26th. Early voting runs June 14-21.

Tammy Larkin Tells Board of Education To Take Responsbility

Last week I spoke to the Baltimore County Board of Education.  After learning about the gun incident at Perry Hall High School where my daughter graduated from I had to speak up.  I told the Board members it needs to be more transparent and that students, teachers, and parents need to feel and be safe when they are in schools.  #angrymom #MDpolitics #findyourvoice #campaign2018 #dotherightthing
