Governor Endorses Tammy Larkin for Delegate in Legislative District 7
Today, Republican Governor Bob Ehrlich announced his support and endorsement of no-nonsense conservative Tammy Larkin for State Delegate.
In the last month, Ms. Larkin has earned endorsements from other top Republican leaders including Minority Leader, Senator JB Jennings and Baltimore County Councilman David Marks.
“Tammy Larkin is an honest conservative who is no-nonsense. Tammy worked on my campaigns and I saw firsthand how hard working and dedicated she is to making Maryland a better place to live and work. She is smart, ethical, and brings a common-sense approach to reducing taxes and cutting government spending. Tammy is passionate about the district, conservative values, and Maryland. I have no doubt that she will be a fighter for District 7 voters. I am proud to endorse Tammy Larkin in the Republican primary for House of Delegates, “ said former Governor Bob Ehrlich.
Ms. Larkin worked on Governor Ehrlich’s campaign in 2010 as State Director of Women for Ehrlich. She is the founder of Conservative Women for Maryland, and a co-founder of Club Conservative in Baltimore County.
“One of the many things Governor Ehrlich and I agree on is the need for commonsense and honesty in Annapolis. I am honored to have earned his endorsement. I will fight to lower taxes and reduce out-of-control government spending to help Marylanders keep more of the money they earn. I can feel the momentum building and it is because Republicans want a conservative who is honest and will look out for their interests and not the special interests.”
The Republican Primary for House of Delegates is Tuesday, June 26th. Early voting runs June 14-21. District 7 includes parts of Baltimore County and Harford County. There is a total of thirteen Republican candidates running in the primary.
