Senior GOP Member on Baltimore County Council David Marks Endorses Tammy Larkin for Delegate
David Marks, two term Republican Baltimore County Councilman today endorsed Tammy Larkin for Delegate in District 7.
“Republicans in District 7 have three votes in the primary election. I urge Republicans to give one of those votes to Tammy Larkin. Tammy is an outstanding candidate whose experience in government and as a community leader will serve us well in Annapolis. She is smart, energetic, and principled,” he said.
This is the second endorsement Ms. Larkin has earned from Republican leaders in the district. Recently, Republican Senate Minority Leader J.B. Jennings (District 7) endorsed Tammy.
Larkin is a Republican leader and founder of Conservative Women for Maryland, co-founder of Club Conservative in Baltimore County, served as State Director of Women for Ehrlich, and worked on the Change Maryland campaign in Governor Hogan’s 2014 victory.
“I have worked collaboratively with Councilman Marks on issues affecting our community and am excited to earn his endorsement,” said Larkin. “His endorsement demonstrates his support of my focus on reducing taxes, creating jobs, fighting sanctuary status for MS-13 gang members, and making sure there is accountability in government. When Councilman Marks and I spoke about the need for commonsense leadership in Annapolis he agreed that I am exactly the kind of representative we need in Annapolis. Again, I’m honored to have earned his endorsement.”
The Republican Primary for House of Delegates is Tuesday, June 26th. Early voting runs June 14-21.
